This is screed to the desired depth (according to the fall height) and then has a trowel finish. This runs about the same price as EPDM surface per square foot, but can be installed on compacted dirt or sand which could save you $2.50 - $3.50 per square foot with sub-base cost. The SBR Mulch is colored with a dye which stops the rubber oxidizing and breaking down. The polyurethane also gives the rubber extra protection.
