The Dola Grant product is designed specifically for users applying for the Dola Waste Tire Grant and the product has been engineered and tested to maximize performance criteria and the quantity of Colorado Waste Tire incorporated into the product.
We have five different kinds of surfaces available through the Colorado Dola Grant.
1) Standard black loose rubber nuggets, this is certified Colorado rubber.
2) Premium colored loose rubber mulch, this is certified Colorado rubber.
3) Bonded rubber mulch which is great for foot paths and trails, this is certified Colorado rubber.
4) SBR Poured in place which comes in 7 different colors and we can incorporate logos and designs. This is certified Colorado rubber.
5) Traditional EPDM poured in place (Base coat and base coat binder only available through the dola grant with this product) top coat material is paid by the customer. This is certified Colorado rubber.
Polyurethane binder is the original poured in place binder used worldwide. It was first developed in Europe in the early eighties along with the EPDM rubber graduals, both are still used worldwide today. The Pigmented binder is typically used on running tracks. Notice your local collage or school has a black, green, or red track? Well that is the pigmented binder. It was Originally designed for running tracks, NOT playgrounds.
